Multi-Vendor Services Leader CDS Continues Strong Growth in 1H 2022

Enhancements to Raytrix MVS Platform, Key Executive Hires Building on Momentum

The first half of 2022 was another incredibly strong performance from CDS. Our first-half revenue grew 26% compared with last year and we achieved record profitability. We had balanced performance both geographically and in terms our OEM partners, on the strength of our broadened Raytrix MVS platform, new senior talent, our partner-first approach and increasing recognition of the strategic importance that multi-vendor services can bring to data centers and IT organizations around the world.

With contract renewal rates exceeding 90% customers are clearly realizing the substantial value of our multi-vendor services capabilities.

As businesses ratchet up their digital transformation initiatives and modernize their technology strategies while grappling with vendors’ supply chain delays, the importance of extending the value of existing infrastructure has never been clearer. This has helped make CDS and our multi-vendor services portfolio an essential piece of the puzzle for so many enterprises around the world. Our partner-first approach and proprietary service and support technologies clearly differentiate CDS from the low-value third-party maintenance industry and its conflicting and often damaging practices.

Among the CDS highlights from the first half of 2022:

  • Mary Terry joined CDS as the company’s new Controller, after being Controller at Community Surgical Supply

  • Carmen Soto joined CDS as Vice President, Customer Support Operations, after holding senior roles at ITelagen and Preferred Health Partners

  • CDS was named to the 2022 CRN Solution Provider 500 and the Channel Futures MSP 501

  • Sandy Fryer, CDS Vice President, OEM & Channel Sales, was named to CRN’s Women of the Channel list

New CDS Raytrix MVS capabilities rolled out in the first half of 2022 included:

  • Continued expansion of advanced storage platform support

  • Security, Service, and Change Management advancements including:

    • Automated ticket creation for closed-loop service delivery

    • Secure service credential enhancements – role and activity-based credentials on storage service processor, time-based token expiration delivering granular controls for service management of storage environments

    • Unique dark site management enablement – eliminates remote access requirement, provide ‘portable’ token to enable management of systems within dark sites for consistent service quality regardless of data center site restrictions

    • Automated secure change control – prevent access to storage service processor if any hardware or software is modified, until it can be authorized by Raytrix

    • Tamperproof tool – validates and protects Raytrix IP from unwanted change or modification until authorized by CDS

I would like to thank the entire global CDS for an outstanding first half of 2022. Their excellent execution is deeply appreciated.

The true test of whether you have the right strategy comes from your customers. Their verdict is the one that matters most.
